Thank you for participating in MAXIMA, a concept devoted to helping you implement lessons from art in everyday life.
I love what I do. I am reminded of this when I am jolted out of bed at 5AM because I can’t stop thinking about how to make MAXIMA better than it was yesterday. Or sitting in bumper-to-bumper traffic on La Brea Avenue with stacks of chairs in the back seat thinking about how I can make this publication and my studio practice the greatest outlet for artists and self-proclaimed “non-artists” the world has ever seen.
Whether I want to believe it or not, my art practice is less about painting paintings and more about advancing communication within the creative field to a broader audience. Coming from 8 years and counting in fine dining and hospitality, I’ve explored many ways to be resourceful and allow my guests to have memorable experiences day in and day out.
I’ve always enjoyed creating environments people like to be in.
Artist Assembly is a superb example of this joy.
Why you should consider a paid membership…
Unlike other Substack or newsletter publications, MAXIMA is also a physical studio space and business operating in Los Angeles, California. The atmosphere that I am building via this newsletter is being built in real life at Studio MAXIMA through bi-weekly artist meetings called Artist Assembly.
Your premium subscription ($12/month or a flat fee of $100/year) isn't just more digital content; it directly contributes to shaping physical environments conducive to creative conversations. We're building something tangible, something that is changing the way artists collaborate and create.
Additional digital content you’ll receive as a paid subscriber:
Art Prompts, Instructions, and How-to’s
Reading and Art related media lists
Often, independent artists hear phrases like "I wish I could buy your art, but I can't afford it right now."
MAXIMA is rewriting this script, offering a way to support artists actively and affordably.
If you have ever wanted to support the arts but didn’t know how… this is a way to do it.
How does my subscription help?
The creator economy is unstable. The angst for consistent virality is a short-term solution to a long-term plan.
Artist Assembly’s connective tissue is built on conversation and dialogue, strengthening the foundation for true artistry. At MAXIMA, discussion comes first.
By becoming a paid subscriber, you're investing in the present, in individuals, and in a vision that is already reshaping the creative process one Assembly at a time.
MAXIMA is redefining the creative approach of an artist, and you are too.
Thank you for being here!
